Road to Success Students Take Flight!

This week at Road to Success, our student pilots took flight—literally! ✈️

Using the DJI Neo drone, students showcased their growing drone maneuvering skills with focus, precision, and excitement. These young aviators are getting ready for something big: the End-of-Year Neo Drone Competition!

In just a few weeks, teams of students will be challenged to compete in a high-energy, skills-based showdown—flying through obstacle courses, completing timed missions, and demonstrating their mastery of drone control. Every practice session counts, and these students are rising to the challenge.

But that’s not all—leadership got in on the action, too! RTS Principal Ms. Tatum jumped into the pilot seat and received some expert drone coaching from one of our own RTS Drone Pilots. That’s right—students teaching staff! A true full-circle learning moment and a proud reflection of how far they’ve come.

This program isn’t just about flying drones—it’s about building confidence, leadership, and 21st-century tech skills. The energy, the teamwork, and the commitment from these students are inspiring to watch.
