
Academy Overview
A division of EdwardWardMedia LLC, Drone Tech Navigators Academy aims to provide 3rd to 12th-grade students with hands-on, interactive STEM education through the use of drones. DTNA offers schools and youth development organizations after-school and summer programs, in-school workshops, and presentations to give students the opportunity to learn about drone technology, coding, and problem-solving in fun and engaging ways. The owner and head instructor, Edward Ward, is an Air Force Veteran and retired Instructional Technology Administrator with more than 30 years of teaching and administrative experience. A certified Part 107A Remote Pilot, NJ-certified teacher, and NJ-certified supervisor, Ward combined his passion for STEM education, multimedia, and drone technology to create Drone Tech Navigators Academy.
