Students in the WR James Sr. Elementary School Drone Club recently participated in an engaging, hands-on DIY Drone Building Project facilitated by Drone Tech Navigators Academy.
As part of this challenge, students were tasked with:
Building the Yellow drone model
Successfully completing a test flight
Advancing to construct the more complex Blue drone model
Students demonstrated strong problem-solving skills, teamwork, and perseverance throughout the activity, ultimately achieving successful builds and flights.
This project highlights DTNA’s commitment to providing experiential STEM learning opportunities that empower students to explore engineering, flight principles, and emerging technologies.
