Franklin Middle School Drone Club Takes Flight in the Drone Programming Challenge!
The Franklin Middle School Drone Club has officially launched into the Drone Programming Challenge, and our FMS Drone Tech Navigators rose to the occasion with skill, teamwork, and creativity.
Using the Go Tello app, students programmed their Tello drones to complete a precision flight mission over two simulated construction sites—then return safely home. This challenge required problem-solving, coding fundamentals, and mission-planning strategy.
Each team created a flight path, filmed their introductions, and recorded their drone's mission from takeoff to landing. The results were impressive—and all student-driven.
