We are thrilled to share the exciting experience of 5th to 8th-grade students who recently participated in the Drone Tech Navigators Academy's 2nd Lt Drone Course at Young Scholar Institute After School Program at Foundation Academies in Trenton, NJ. This innovative course immersed students in the world of drone technologies, drone programming through block coding, drone simulators, and the exhilarating hands-on experience of flying the Tello drone indoors.
The students not only gained valuable insights into cutting-edge drone technologies but also honed their skills in programming through engaging block coding activities. The drone simulators provided a simulated environment for students to practice and refine their piloting skills before taking flight with the Tello drone.
The highlight of the program was undoubtedly the hands-on drone flying experience. Under the guidance of Mr. Edward Ward, Founder, the students took to the skies indoors, maneuvering the Tello drone with precision and enthusiasm. The excitement and joy were palpable as they navigated the drone through various challenges, fostering teamwork and problem-solving skills.
We are pleased to announce that the Drone Tech Navigators Academy will be making a return to the after-school program in February 2024. This promises another round of thrilling exploration and learning opportunities for students interested in the fascinating world of drone technology.
